Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers can be used to restore the skin’s naturally youthful appearance. Fillers are usually applied to the lower third of the face, but they can also be injected into the lips or around the cheeks. On occasion, dermal fillers are injected around the eyes and forehead, treating areas that can’t be reached through anti-wrinkle injections.

Facial aesthetics treatments are completed quickly, meaning that you won’t have to take time off work to recover.

The treatments are non-invasive and patients experience only a small amount of discomfort.

You won’t have to worry about going under the knife: facial aesthetics treatments are non-surgical.

You’ll be able to enjoy the full effects of the treatments soon after receiving them.

Botox® – or anti-wrinkle injections – can be used to reduce frown lines, forehead lines or the lines that form around the eyes. Botox® doesn’t require any anaesthesia and full results can usually be seen within two weeks.
Patients who’ve received these injections can smile, laugh and frown as usual, though their skin wrinkles less in areas that have been treated.

What options do you offer?

At Kenley Dental, we can provide you with dermal fillers or anti-wrinkle injections – also known as Botox®.

Why do our faces change with age?

As our skin ages, it naturally loses some of its natural collagen and fat. Collagen and fat stop the skin from becoming saggy, which is why the skin may grow thinner, more wrinkled or more lined with age.

Are the treatments safe? Do they last?

Both dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle injections are safe. Dermal fillers don’t leave any scars and can last from 6 months to 2 years. Anti-wrinkle injections last for 3-4 months.
